Don't forget the basics !

Working as Hadoop DBA, I have noticed several times that the previous admin did forget to :

• Configure HDFS quota
• Setup YARN Capacity Scheduler
• Check that Configuration Group is well defined
• Security policies are enforced
• Use Jenkins ;-)
